About Me

I am Southpaw!

I’ve always enjoyed writing; however, my writing journey has taken many scenic breaks along the way. In grade school, I wrote stories for fun. I also wrote research papers for fun with illustrations, maps, and graphs included.

When I was twelve, my favorite author was Edgar Allan Poe. It probably won’t surprise you that my first set of stories followed the creepy horror/crime theme. I unveiled one story I wrote titled MURDER ON COTTONWOOD WAY at a slumber party. Though short and predictable, it was a huge success.

My teen years were all about poetry. Depending on the day, it was either dark and gloomy or lighthearted and fun. I also co-wrote comedic plays with my best friend.

Once I entered the world of grownups, I started compiling and creating recipes that would eventually become my World Cuisine Cookbook. I also wrote a few educational thematic booklets. (I can tell you all sorts of interesting information about arachnids.) From there I moved to creative stories for children. Now, I’m tackling my first novel. Someday soon, you might see my book in your local bookstore and you can tell everyone, “I knew her when….”
