2012, it’s been swell, but now it all ends…

Party On

Party On

…at least according to Hollywood and a few other sources. We best make the best of this year so that it is the bestest year ever!

No more lollygagging around if we want people to read our stuff before the world ends, right?

Actually, I rather like the number 2012. It’s roundish and fun.

Here’s what’s happening this year…

I will republish my cookbooks in print and also in e-book form.

I created a brand new website and I’m excited about it. Just a little more testing and I tell you all about it.

I’ll introduce my penname – the same time I present my new website.

And, probably the most exciting post to come is a “new” zodiac personality – this year it is… oh, you’ll just have to come back. I promise it will be tasty…

So, tell me what’s on your bucket list for this year?

  1. Happy new year to you!

Looking forward to seeing your new projects. This year I mainly want to be a little more professional/serious with my blog and try to expand it and make it as great as it can be – so more muscling myself into launch parties, doing interviews, participating in blogfests etc.

    Here's to getting things done!

  2. Hi Holly .. Happy New Year – and good to see your cookbooks newly packaged and up for sale.

Change and get myself organised for the days ahead .. cheers Hilary

  3. This year, I'll be working on all the pre-publication stuff for my next book — revising, line edits, promotional stuff.

But the book doesn't come out until 2013 — assuming we make it that far. Wah! It would stink to do all that work and never see it on the shelves!

End of the world would stink for other reasons, too, I guess. 😉

  4. Wow, you've got lots of great projects going on, can't wait to check them out … I'm working on the pre-pub business of my novel, enjoying this journey to publication.

Happy New Year to you, all the best in 2012 🙂

  5. Hmmm, curious about the “new” zodiac personality thing.

    Happy New Year, Holly.

  6. New book release and complete the third book in the series!
Let me know when your cookbooks are in eBook form so I can download them. Yes, the Ninja does know how to cook!

  7. Your enthusiasm and energy are inspiring!

  8. You have me intrigued with the 'zodiac personality'.

  9. Have a great 2012!

Also looking forward to zodiac thingie. 😉

  10. I don't have a Bucket List. I have a While I'm Still Alive List. This year I want to make a solid living writing. I still work part time but would like to live totally off sales of my books!

  11. Seriously, we could die at any time. So, I should be just relaxing on a beach somewhere with a margarita. But, this year, I think I'll write.

  12. No new resolutions here. Same old ones, though!

  13. Wow! All kinds of exciting things going on with you. Very good 🙂

  14. I still got to get a haircut so people quit calling me a hippie 🙂

  15. Happy New Year. I am a new follower. Your post reminded me of what my ten year old son said to me on New Years Eve, “Mom if you are ever going to get your book published you better hurry up because if you wait til late in the year people might not read it before the world ends.” Frightening and humorous. Which is wors?

  16. Happy New Year!

Sounds like you have a busy year ahead of you. 🙂 I hope you have fun accomplishing all these things on your bucket list 🙂

  17. Good luck crossing everything off your bucket list! Have an awesome 2012!

  18. Happy New Year to you! These are great resolutions 🙂 Can't wait to hear about the zodiac personality.

  19. Created another website? Gee, I barely have time to do my one justice. Look on the bright side about Dec 21st. We won't have to buy Christmas presents! 🙂 Roland

  20. ROLAND! LOL.

Happy New Year ever one. Glad to see everyone seems so positive.

  21. You changed your bloggy name! I was trying to refollow you, and was thinking when did I start following Southpaw? OH! Derp. Anyway! I can't wait to hear about your new website and pen name! You have a good year planned out it seems like, for the last year we're all alive. *snicker*

  22. You've got some exciting things on the horizon. I look forward to reading all about them.

  23. we're actually thinking of hosting an apocalypse party, and have people dress up as people from their favorite apocalypses: zombies, plague survivors, nuclear winter survivors.
We have almost a whole year to plan this baby

  24. I don't think anyone would want to buy any cookbook I'd write. Even more so for anything my husband would write (based on his cooking). I have often told him we could build a new house if we turned his bread into bricks. Yep, it's that dense. The whole house shakes when he tries to cut a slice of bread. 😉

Good luck with your bucket list. 😀

  25. LOL, sounds so exciting 🙂

  26. Honestly? I don't know. 🙁

  27. I didn't know you had cookbooks, I feel ashamed now. You should give us your recipes more often 🙂

  28. Yes, Dez I do. I tried not to be all in your face about them. 🙂

  29. New Zodiac personality – now you have me intrigued.

This year is just about doing things a little big better one day at a time.

  30. Happy New Year! 🙂

I like the number 2012, too. Despite the fact it's supposed to be the year of our doom and all.

Good luck with your bucket list!

  31. I've followed your link and now am following again. 🙂

    Happy belated New Year!
Jules @ Trying To Get Over The Rainbow

  32. Happy New Year! Happy End of the World! Maybe it's wrong to say happy on that last one. 🙂 I'm not too worried. I think we'll all be writing 'what's in store for this year' posts a year from now. Have a great weekend!

  33. Happy happy New Year! Love your new home here. 🙂 Thanks for putting my book in your sidebar, too.
